A Splash of Yellow

The rudbeckia are in full flower in our neighbours' gardens as well as our own. When I look out into the street I can see wonderful clumps of golden yellow dotted around. It is still quite cold for August and I'm convinced autumn is coming early. I just hope we will have an Indian Summer.
