Mono Monday Connections.

Many a slip.

Our village pub closed a few months ago and since then there hasn't been, to my knowledge a connection made there between cup and lip.

Being about three hundred years old there must have been many millions of these connections made in its hallowed interior before this notice was published on that fateful day.

Rumors abound about its reopening but all come to nothing.

It seems strange that as nothing has changed since its closure and that was preceded by a complete makeover that local pundits speculated that little change was left out of a million pounds, no one has come forward to take it on.
