A time to weep and a time to laugh

So said the reading from Ecclesiastes 3:4. There was some of both today but not too much of the former as we were celebrating a life well lived and a natural passing. Death is the last great taboo which is a shame as I feel personally it is best faced and accepted. The real positive was to meet up with all the family including the oldest and youngest granddaughters above and to share good company and reminiscences. I am tired now and will sleep soundly. I hope so at least as we are off to Paris tomorrow.
