Mini Rant........

I heard on BBC Radio 4 yesterday (BH) that public opinion is being 'prepared' for increased involvement and military action in Iraq. Apparently, the language will gradually become more 'robust' over the next few weeks. Presumably until there is a consensus in favour of such action and then we will hear that the government acted with support of overwhelming public opinion !

I also hear we (USA/UK) are arming the Kurdish 'Peshmurga' (this term repeated endlessly on BBC last week) - previously (still?) known as the PKK (Kurdish People's Party) which is proscribed as a terrorist organisation by NATO. They (the media) just changed the name! But why don't they tell us that?
