The Long View

Just to be absolutely sure that my husband's bad back was cured, I took him out again this afternoon for a drive towards Glenshee, stopping en route to take this long view of the Perthshire Hills looking towards the Grampians.

We didn't get as far as Glenshee, as we stopped at the Glenshee Pottery and Café for a drink and some of their out-of-this-world shortbread. That did the trick and he is now officially pain free!

I had planned to make some cheese scones too, but that will have to wait until another day, as you can have too much of a good thing!

We had been threatened with freezing weather but it didn't materialise. It was chilly and a tad windy, but quite pleasant otherwise. Hope your day was good too.
