Mossie Burn

This wee burn has been a dribble all summer, until this week! Today it was quite a torrent. It runs from a lochan in the woods down rocky slabs into the Mossie, a meadow and wooded area. It supports some exciting wildlife including Golden Ringed and Common Hawker Dragonflies, Large Red Damselflies and Grey Wagtails. There is abundant flora in this area, butterflies, red squirrel and roe deer. And all through my back gate!
