It's all in thtiming.

I really really want to get a shot of a plane crossing the face of the Sun. It is difficult though as you can't really look at the Sun to see if a plane is on track. I guessed at this one and pressed the shutter release a fraction too late.
I have managed it once by pure chance a couple of years ago but no luck since!
