Edinburgh Castle

Went into town to see if anything was doing, but not much on the Royal Mile, I think rain may have dissolved the artists in the evening.

Standing at the corner of Ramsay Loan and Mound Place I was watching a sparrow hawk whilst everyone else was watching the wheel going round and awaiting taxis.

This is from Princes Street as I walked slowly back to the bus-stop. The Castle is lit in a kind of pink, but seems to change its colours every so often and when the Tattoo is on at present they are projecting pictures on to it too.

It was well past sunset ;-) with heavy clouds and smirry rain.
