Today the old Lothian 68 Edinburgh Pars Supporters' Bus was revived, after many years lying fallow. Quite a successful trip in terms of the bus and the legendary sweep; unfortunately the football was not. Few of the players performed today.
The Forfar park is a classic old fitba' ground, however. The opposing supporters even walked round to change ends at half-time :)
This, though, is an example of the famed Forfar Bridie. Whit? It was some sort of sausagemeat filling with onions. More like an anaemic Cornish Pastie. It was obviously lovingly hand crafted, though. The baker's thumb-prints in the crimping round the edge...
