Only slightly late...

... for her swim training camp. We had only left our house when at the traffic lights we had an accident. A car coming from the Brussels motorway completely ignored a red light a came plowing into our car. Thankfully we were driving the Volvo and the other car a Mercedes - no physical injuries! Of course the sorting out took quite a while. The Volvo has apparently broken the steering column in the impact and could not be driven anymore. In the end I took Pippa to her camp in my little car (very glad I wasn't driving that one in the collision) whilst Bert waited for the tow truck.
In the end Pippa arrived only a little too late. Bert has got a replacement car and three of us are taking it easy tonight.
