Ugandan Gravel Factory

You see people all over Uganda patiently hammering pieces of rock into smaller pieces, creating an ever increasing pile of small stones, from a decreasing pile of bigger ones. In the hills near Lake Bunyoni though it was on a much larger scale with whole areas at the cliff edge covered with people, many ladies and children hammering away - probably from dawn to dusk.
