Eden Camp.
We left York quite early this morning, and went to Eden Camp, near to Malton in North Yorkshire. This was a Prison of War Camp, built in 1942, and all 29 huts used for this purpose are now a museum about wartime Britain. There is so much to see that it takes a few hours to get around it all.
Whilst walking between the huts I spotted these little birds, swallows I think, waiting to be fed. Just at that moment an adult flew in, and I managed to blip them.
We then moved on to Helmsley, before setting off for home.
