John Lloyd's Museum of Curiosity was a bit disappointingly slow-paced (and shows how good editing these things down to half an hour for the radio can be). Jimmy Carr was good on it though (and shows that he's better in snippets within shows than an unremitting hour of one-liners).

Circa: Beyond was astounding. Truly superb, and weird, and physically amazing. Loved it. We saw them last year as well, and I reckon this year's show was even better.

Pause for dinner, then The Horne Section provided an upbeat and properly funny way to round off the day.

Given this is two years in a row that me mam has come down for a weekend of Fringey stuff I think we can call it an annual thing now.
