Plums

In the back of Dutchoaks garden there stood a withering plum tree. A branch had broken off in a storm and it didn't grow anymore.

Suddenly, for no apparent reason, new shoots started to sprout and grow like mad. Old branches died. By now this plum tree has completely rejuvenated itself and gave a good harvest with a promise of a bumper crop in years to come.
