Not the Simpson Desert

The Tvan has been built for crossing Australia, seeing the Simpson Desert, The Kimberleys and Cape York Peninsula…but we just needed to give it a trial run in the local park.

Aussies don't like camping in the cold and wet so we had the park to ourselves. I'm glad we had a little trial run as we did miss a spot and had a big puddle of water inside in the morning.

We knew that a bigger storm was on it's way so we packed up in the rain. I don't mind too much. We have the right gear…although I did see this Blip and really thought I could use the outfit...It's Grim up North
