"Down please"

Nathaniel enjoying playing with his cousins' Weeble castle. He's set up the throne, bed and table so the Princess and the Dragon can have supper. He then moved the Dragon to the floor saying "Dragon say Down please"...very cute hearing him teaching his toys! Has been a good day of playing at home and in the garden, although Nathaniel has been showing some boundary testing again, lots if talking about why we don't hit....
Also went to soft play at the childrens centre today, lots of stepping stone, slide and bean bag fun. Nathaniel really enjoyed himself, and Bay too. Odd moment as we arrived in the car park, a strange lady came up and said "have you got two gorgeous boys in there?" I said yes, but was obviously confused! She then said "ah their my boys I've come to see them" so I looked horrified! Then another car pulled up and she said "oh no there they are, I'm here for a contact visit". Sad moment watching another mother reunited with children for their brief visit. Felt wrong to be witness to something so personal...although I was much relieved that she hadn't come for my boys! Reminder that our lives are so wonderfully simple.
