Royal Opera House, Valetta
Once the scene of opulence, not much of the original building remains since it was heavily bombed on 7th April 1942. Inside and only recently constructed there is now a Theatre (chairs and stage, lighting rigs, microphones. The negative postcard is believed to be the only 'photographic' record of the building.

A day spent touring the South of the island, I was very spoiled for blips today but this seemed most poignant but also how amazing that so much of the history within Valetta has been preserved so well.
