Honey Bee

The flowers are on the long-leaved lacebark, Hoheria sexstylosa, a native tree of New Zealand. These flowers are similar to, but larger than those on the narrow-leaved lacebark that I blipped a few weeks ago.

The bee looks good in large. I was able to get close to it because it was resting between flowers.
