Annemarie

Annemarie and I have known each other since we met as undergraduates almost 30 years ago.

In that time we have both gone through some interesting stuff, sometimes excellent, sometimes not. Whenever we have have celebrated, we have celebrated together; when we have needed each other in extremis, we have been there for each other without fail regardless of consequences.

We live hundreds of miles apart and have very different lives. We only see each other once a year on average, but the friendship continues, is renewed every time we meet and is unbreakable.

Which is nice, don't you think?
