Dog Days

We're in the dog days of summer but it sure doesn't feel 'sultry'...

I followed this group of dogs with their owners into a pet store because I thought it would make a cute blip, however the theme of my day was 'the best laid plans...'

Not all of the 7 dogs wanted to pose and even these 3 were not happy having to stand near each other. Sigh.

Last night I went to bed knowing this morning I would have to deal with the drained battery of my automobile so, sleep did not come easily. That situation ended well as my battery re-juiced itself (please, I don't pretend to know anything about cars) and my car started with no trouble this morning! Good karma!?

The rain surprised me today so no long bike ride. I made lemonade out of that, too by getting some things done around the house and having lunch with a friend.
