The Carnivals or "Carnies"

I have never actually been on the big wheel at Codonas.

When I was younger we would always spend a day at the Carnivals and the beach. The beach would be packed with families building sand castles and eating ice creams. Running into the North Sea and very quickly running out again as it was so cold!

I loved going to the Carnivals as I would always try and win a goldfish. I did a few times and would carefully carry home my fish in a plastic bag. They were always called goldie.. original I know!! How things have changed over the years.
