Boys around town

We took Milou and Bobbie into Brighton for the first time today, but not only that, they had their first trip on a bus! We were a little worried due to their car sickness, but they loved the bus and were very calm.

We took them to the doggy shop, followed by a visit to the doggy cafe which is great, and they had lots of fun investigating. They were fine until the owners dog growled at them because she wanted their 'treats', and after that they wanted to sit with us.

We've had a great day, and they've been on three buses in total, without a problem. We stopped at the marina on the way home and had a drink at Cafe Rouge, and a guy came out with a young man in a wheel chair who I think was blind. He loves dogs so we asked if he'd like to stroke the boys. His carer said that would he'd love to, and his face lit up, so I asked if he'd like to hold Bobbie. Bobbie was fantastic with him, and just sat on his lap while he stroked him - maybe he is a therapy dog in the making, like Roo.

The other exciting news is that the boys are going to get their 15 minutes of fame tomorrow - they've been asked to take part in a photo shoot for Elif who's a local designer/dress maker. I think it's a 1950's theme, and she said she needed a white dog and asked if she could have Milou & Bobbie. I don't know how well behaved they'll be mind you, but I guess I'll blipping tomorrow if all goes well....
