French Patisserie

We had the day in Chamonix and were allowed to do whatever we wanted. A group of us decided to sleep in and then find some breakfast in the town, which was amazing as French patisseries are absolutely delicious! Afterwards we planned to take a cable car up to see some ice caves but due to strong winds the cable car wasn't running and our only other option was to walk, which, as you can imagine, was not very popular! Instead we headed back to the hostel to play cards for a while and then when the weather cleared up we went back to the town and looked round the market. We had dinner at a pizza place.

Although the weather prevented us doing what we planned we still had a really fun day and it was great getting to know some members of other groups really well also :)
