Wrong Season!

Trecherous gullies and ledges in large here.

When the clouds parted this evening the north facing slopes of the Dents du Midi were well and truly sprinkled with new snow. This is our summer in the Alps! The really high peaks must be very dangerous at the moment.

Really appreciated the faves and raves for yesterday's Icarus shot which eventually spotlighted very briefly.
