the vanishing point

Little details I so often pass as I hurry to chase the clock. The lovely simplicity in this wrought iron fence is something I pass each day but fail to take in. Often the thoughts get away from me and disappear into the vanishing point. What is needed is one step, one circle in the fence at a time. Take it, don't just use it as a means to reach the next which becomes a means to reach the next &c. ; so the day rolls away from us like these perfect circle details, it vanishes over the horizon and we never truly arrive in this perfect bubble of the present.
