Free Trailer

I took myself off for a walk this morning and headed up through the still uncut wheat field, which is looking rather sad, and onto the ridge, which looks out across Bedfordshire. There were quite a few dog walkers up there and it was blowy but not chilly.

A tractor was working in the big field at the top turning in the remains of the straw and his trailer was lying idle on the track so I thought it might make a good blip for today.

I don't eat cake as a normal rule, but we had friends over yesterday afternoon so JJ baked a Victoria sponge and filled it with raspberry jam and Cornish clotted cream. Most was devoured but there were a couple of slices left, which we have finished this afternoon. He does make an exceedingly good cake.
