The end

of the Birmingham-Worcester Canal is just above Diglis Lock on the Severn. A pleasant cycle ride down from Bromsgrove. The towpath varies from muddy, tree roots, to fresh gravel, and beautifully smooth tarmac through the city. This fine new bridge is not shown on my OS map - I like to think I'm the first of my family ever to cross it. Just six more miles to home.
