Took a trip out to Ailsa Craig

As encouragement to get all our assessments in on time and to pass out exams at the end of every term the last week is full of fun things to do like rhoddy bashing and Culzean Castle or dry stone dyke building in Galloway Forest. This time is was a trip out to the one island I've been fascinated by since I was a kid. The one island I couldn't easily visit by ferry with my grandad.

The conservation society in college chartered a boat out and we got a few hours on the island where a few of us climbed up to the ruined towerhouse whilst the rest had a picnic or walked round to see the foghorn.
