Made from girders - spring to mind as an old jingle associated with this iconic National soft drink. Today it was more Brrrrr rather than Barrs! This can had been impaled on the bars of Princes Street Gardens. The street cafes tables were deserted. The city was busy but due to the weather not the buzz I usually associate with the second Saturday of the Festival - especially in Charlotte Square Book Festival where we whiled away some time browsing the books and marvelling at the great book queuing aficionados. Surely we do not look as eccentric as all these other festival punters ...?
