hi folks,

i've been dogsitting seigfried and patsy for the last couple of days, so I've just backfilled the past few blips.

My flat is now off the market after all my hard work perparing it for sale! The house I was planning to buy turned out to be a bit of a turkey - it needed a new roof, a new floor and the walls were basically a big sponge! Ah well, nothing ventured and all that, the annoyance is the time and money spent to get to that point. I view it as a good save though, I wouldn't have been very jolly if I'd found that out after I'd bought the place.

In terms of my flat though, the good news is that the of the 4 people who came to see it, 2 put offers in before I had a chance to cancel the sale! It's quite flattering in a way, and the good news is that I shouldn't have a problem selling when I finally find a place that isn't falling apart.

btw - expect a little name change, I've settled on UnusualAspect, hope you all recognise who I am ;-)
