Gladioli blossoming

Bright, breezy day

Quiet day, in between the Children's Hearing yesterday and busy day tomorrow with Skype preaching and leading worship here in my own church.
Not the best of lunchtimes. Louis van Haal promised so much for Manchester United but managed to see them lose their opening League match!

It was so breezy it was thought best to cut one of the gladioli which had begun to blossom and bring it inside. It was a good opportunity to try and photograph it - although not the easiest of flowers - so tall and so many twists and turns. It is a lovely flower none the less.
