A trip to Harvard

Thia is not actually an image of John Harvard himself. Apparently a student sat for the modelling of the bronze statue by Daniel Chester French . There were lots of people queuing to rub the shiny shoe which tourists seem to think will bring them luck. We didn't bother and just as well as I later read that this is a favourite place for students to relieve themselves!
