Nevah

Today, I had two poorlies to look after. One was the Eldest, who has developed a heavy cold, so didn't feel like going to school. I dragged her along to Yoga with me, which she joined in with, and seemed to enjoy. We then went out with one of my friends for morning tea...not really a sick day as such.

The second poorly, is our black foster kitten, who is not getting any friendlier. In fact he tries to throw himself through the closed windows or walls when we go in the room to do anything, all while howling and growling. He's rather scary. He has all the symptoms of cat flu.

I rang the SPCA to let them know, and got an appointment for 4pm. The Eldest and I took him out there, and I let them know that there is no way on this earth that I would be able to manage daily medication for him. They were really understanding. They were going to see how they go with him for 24 hours, but I don't know that the outcome is going to be positive for the wee lad.

We went across to the Foster area to let them know that we'd returned. Apparently our black foster was an 8 month old trapped wild cat. Not quite what we'd been told when we collected him...but it explained a lot of his behaviour.

They asked us if we'd have another foster, so here's Nevah, a 5 year old girl with cat flu. She seems to like females, but is very wary of the Husband. Nice to have one that will approach for smooches and attention.
