Beach checkers

We arrived at our vacation destination with plenty of time to take a stroll along the beach before sunset. And stumbled upon this hard fought game of checkers.

I think Munford on the left was a bit of a ringer, leading the unsuspecting tourist on just long enough to believe he might win and then swooping in for the kill. He thoroughly enjoyed the maneuver :)

Munford and his lady friend Vernay both retired to Lewes beach and are having the time of their lives. We met and chatted with a couple other people in the same situation over dinner. So now a thought has been planted: why not? ;)
