Galway (Connemara's Killary Fjord area)
The trip from Galway to Killary Fjord was great. I only wish I could have taken about a week here! The landscape is unlike any I've ever been in. It was strange to see vast outcroppings of rock with such greenery. The geologic clock is painted on everything here and is in the forefront of my mind every time I look at the landscape. Truly unique and stunning. And the ferry ride out onto the fjord had its own special charm. The several Jamesons onboard really was a nice cherry on the cake.
