it's a blue day...

...in the butterfly world

for i saw - not just 1 - but 2 - blue butterflies today

this after just saying yesterday - that butterfly sightings had been rather rare - this summer - and it's true - i believe they were simply feeling sorry for - me today - that's all - the 2 specimens i did - happen to lay eyes on - were not large either - i'm surprised i even saw them - this little one here? no bigger than - my little finger nail - i kid you not - a tiny thing - but most precious - and the most wonderful shade of blue - outlined with a reddish orange - color around her wings - i've never seen one - like her before - she was a tad nervous - only allowing me time - to get a few shots - before she took flight - it was enough though - to make it...
