Remembering Hans Sachs

It was almost frightening how easy it was to find this tacky mug that has only ever been used on the day it was bought.

Brome bought it at a Chritkindle Market in Nuremberg in 1994 to carry his mulled wine around in. It commemorates Hans Sachs, Schusterpoet of Nurnberg. I find it very ugly.

Now, at last, it has been put to good use as my blip for today. Thanks Red and Hiraeth for some great inspiration. Who knows, maybe someone will even look up some poetry by Hans Sachs.
