Yak & Yeti Nepalese Restaurant Sign from the Bus.

Yes its raining again. Although to be fair, most of the day has been quite warm and pleasant. Despite the good weather in the morning, I had to replace the hinges on my laptop (I now have no red on the monitor, which probably means the monitor wire now also needs to be replaced, arrrggghhhh!!!) This does mean I missed out on a nice bike ride. Mind you, the schools are back, summer holidays are over for Edinburgh school children, so it might have been a bit hectic.

Anyway after visiting the charity shops in Newington, we head up to Argos to see about getting a new vacuum cleaner. Not having the one we want in stock, I place a reservation on the system. Then we get the bus back to somewhere quieter, away from teh Festival chaos, to get coffee.

The windows are steamed up, so I opened one of the windows to get some air in to the bus, so the small amount of splashing from the rain is very tolerable. At Newington Road, I notice this sign for the Yak & Yeti Nepalese Restaurant. The window has cleared just enough for me to get a shot at it. I managed to get two shots before the bus moves off. Fortunately, both come out ok.

After coffee, I decided to go to the shelter shop at Tollcross to get a Rouleur book of cycling photographs. As I get on the bus I realise I no longer have my bus pass. Fortunately its not very far, and get off at Tollcross (thanks bus driver). After buying the book, I left my partner at the bus stop and walk back up to the coffee shop. I find the bus pass in the gutter. Yay. Even better I walk across the road, and get the same bus that partner was on.
