Work hard, play hard, that's the way it's suppose to go right?

Forged is a new City bar and restaurant that opened its vault a few months back.

A couple of work colleagues decided to give it a try today A) Its been one of those weeks, B) one of my colleagues was just feeling poorly, and was in need of some 'comfy'food. C) The most important excuse, guess what... It' Friday!!!

To be honest, I was contemplating to go or not, and during such times of confusion I always revert to my usual habit of 'let's flick a coin'. Heads it was, and off I went!

I would describe this place as a bold yet striking place. I did love the stripped back brickwork and the luxury leather booths! They specialise in mouth-watering cuts of meat from 'the pit' including coca-cola glazed pork ribs, burgers etc.

Apparently if you are a table of 4 or more, you get a free bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne. Yup we will be back for that thanks.
