Order and Disorder

The disadvantage of going away is having to return to the supermarket on the return to base. A visit to Mr. Sainsbury today will see me through to the start of the week when I may carry out a more intensive restocking of the larder.

I suppose there is some order to these trolleys, but not much. Some supermarkets require a coin in a slot on the trolley in order to release it. A benefit of that system is that in order to retrieve the coin it has to be parked with a like sized trolley. This works very well at the supermarket we use at Lake Como. It also means there is no need for a man to collect and sort the trolleys from around the car park. I suppose the lack of orderliness here does help provide employment.
