Chabre North Launch
Before the hang gliders arrived, rigged, some got thrown around a bit, and sanity finally prevailed when wind actualities were given in evidence and the task finally cancelled.
The initial Mistral Day 2 plan to St Vincent was abandoned when the wind was half what was expected in the morning. This was enough to call a task up on the Chabre.
It wasn't pleasant, with lots of pressure to get a third task in and an ineffective joint safety committee. With a westerly in the (strong) wind on Chabre also come dust devils and difficult launching.
The same forecast tomorrow, I won't be repeating today.
