first family camping and first festival in one heady weekend

after the great roberto and mr skaterg1rl and the girl called larry spent four or five hours putting this tent up, we were all able to get in to festival mood.

the weekend is a blur of eating pies, listening to music, searching for toilets that were not completely toxic, eating pies and happy kids. we had just enough mud to make us feel like genuine festival goers.

the kids stayed up for eddi and boo but within half an hour were begging for their sleeping bags.

i was teased for having tried to shut up the folky guitar player who decided that a 2am jam session was a sociable activity in a crowded field of tents.
