Away Days II - Monkstone Inn

A second consecutive away game in two nights ... You wait for one away game and two come along at once.

Monkstone Inn are riding high in the league, currently second placed, so it was a tough place for us to visit.

Our first game started brilliantly ... Dawn was on fire. End after end she pointed right onto the coche. I managed to shoot everything first time and even managed a carreau ... But Dawns consistency ground them down and we edged over the winning post 13-8.

Our second game was a different affair. We just couldn't find it on the second piste. Our 13-4 worse defeat from the very first game we played finally got beaten as we slumped to a 13-1 loss. We were lucky not to be fannied. They gave us the one with their last shot on one end.

The other pairing won one lost one as well, so a two all draw was quite creditable in the end. The games are running out now. We will end up mid table if we can keep picking up the points in our last four games.
