No Waves Here
After two days away from our friendly bay watching the heavy surf in Ixtapa, it was nice to see this tranquil scene this morning. There is a reason all the fishing boats and runabouts are moored in and around the lagoon, the water is extremely calm. Boats can be left in the water (and framed by the pedestrian bridge) or pulled up on shore with little or no danger of anything happening to them. Even when we get biggish waves on Playa La Ropa, this area is generally well protected by the northern headland that forms the mouth of Zihuatanejo Bay.
