Quiz: Snicket, ginnel or ?

I was walking down this alleyway from the doctors to the village centre this morning. It occurred to me that not only is it quite a nice blip in its own right but I have always called such passageways - a Snicket. I think this is the Yorkshire term for such a passage. But what is your local word? Is it ginnel, jennel, alleyway, passageway, passage, flutester or do you have another word! Please share your thoughts and what is your favourite?

Anyway its Friday, I have a friend coming overnight as we are both going to a retirement do where I shall many people I worked with in the early part of my career. Then tomorrow bonus off to Scarborough for two days cricket, if the weather holds. So a busy but relaxing weekend. Got rid of my latest infection so looking forward to a cracking weekend. Hope yours is as good!
