Happy hens' eggs

Every first and third Friday of the month, the Farmers' Market takes over the central streets of Chichester around the Cross.

Hardly surprisingly the lovely textures and patterns of the stacked eggs caught my eye. The eggs are from West Dean which is just up the road from here. And Farmer John was proud to promote these eggs as coming from Happy Hens, he even had a huge photo of his flock pecking in the fields.
