The storm is close

A quiet day for festival related activities so I decided to head up to Calton Hill just for a bit of exercise but I also took the camera. I left the flat with sunshine on my back but by the time I reached the top of the hill there were storm clouds gathering all around and seconds after the shutter was pressed on this shot the heavens opened! This view is often captured with a brilliant sunset or a super-sized moon but I actually think a stormy sky suits the scene most of all.
