the grumpy smiler!

Yesterday we saw a nurse for her last set jabs
the nurse was so kind, but fern thought otherwise
looking at the needles as the nurse prepared
sneakin a glance at the door
wishing she had legs to run
I hold her tight, whispering in her ear, brave girl,
but it didnt stop the pain, the tears,
as 3 times she got attacked!

we went to see daddy at work after,
so she could make a complaint,
snuggled in tight, walkin round his work,
she soon felt better.

today shes in a grump, and who could blame her
so we are staying in, snuggled up,
camera to hand, takin random snaps,
I have ones of her smiling, ones of her grizzling,
but this sums her up...Not quite sure how she feels!!!
