Stye selfie

well, i thought it was a stye, and i thought i should just wait till it ran its course, but perhaps i was wrong - it's worse today than it was yesterday, and my puffy eyelid is now hampering my sight

the worst part about needing medical treatment on August the 15th in Greece is that it's a major public/religious holiday, so i suppose i will have to go to A&E to seek a remedy - i feel so terrible about this for one reason alone: hospital doctors in Greece are overworked at the moment, due to the cuts in state expenditure, and i really dont think i should be seeing them during the holiday season

i did my internet self-diagnosis whcih led me to conclude that since styes apparently go away on their own eventually, i could wait - but perhaps i am one of the unlucky ones in this case, and i need treatment

oh well, we shall soon find out...
