Walk through the garden with the family! Captured the image of Ava & Nanny looking up at the Blue Heron Nests in the rookery. All the nest were empty but the ship canal and locks did have salmon running which was a treat to watch as they were moving up through the fish ladder. There was also a sea lion in the waterway at the beginning of the fish ladder having a full lunch.

All in all a great day that was completed with a visit to the woodland park zoo.

Some overcast and some rain along with some sun breaks throughout the day. It did make it mighty comfortable with the walk through the zoo.
